To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Quaderna series designed by Superstudio, Zanotta is releasing three new original pieces: a desk, a coffee table, and above all a surprising rug.
Recognized as a manifesto of “radical design”, through geometric shapes and lines that have made it an iconic collection, the Quaderna series was designed by the Superstudio group between 1969 and 1972 before being published from 1972 by the Italian Zanotta.

Quaderna : des pièces inédites de la série Misura M de Superstudio
De fait, la table basse et le bureau qui viennent d’être édités sont des pièces inédites de la série Misura M de Superstudio. Zanotta a en effet sélectionné ces deux projets dans le catalogue original de la série et les a relookés en modernisant leurs dimensions, en ajoutant un tiroir au bureau, tout en veillant à rester en accord avec la philosophie Superstudio. Le tapis est tufté à la main avec un fil 100 % laine de Nouvelle-Zélande : la conception reproduit fidèlement une esquisse d’un des histogrammes d’architecture, qui ont marqué la vision de Superstudio. Il a été fourni pour les archives de l’un des cofondateurs, Cristiano Toraldo di Francia (décédé en août 2019).

The Quaderna collection thus comprises eight pieces: three tables (square or rectangular), a desk, a console and a coffee table, to which are added the new desk, the new coffee table and the rug.
