Winners of the 11th Satellite Show Awards in Milan

For its 11th edition, the Satellite show, which was held this year at the back of halls 1 and 3 of the Rho Exhibition Center in Milan, named the three winners of its competition and chose to reward projects for their sustainable, communicating side. , interactive and playful while ensuring their essential side for the life of adults and children in the future.

The first prize was awarded to Nigerian designer Lani Adeoye for his RemX cane project, an example of contemporary craftsmanship that fits perfectly with the theme of the 2022 competition: Design for our loved ones in the future.

The second prize goes to Studio Gilles Werbrouck, present on the Belgium is design stand for its series of lamps, projection of white plaster on black recycled plastic hooks which once again combines craftsmanship and design. The third prize was awarded to the Serbian designer Djurdja Garcevic, present on the stand of the Young Balkan Designers for his street furniture project Meenghe.

A special mention was awarded to the Finnish Rasnus Palmgren for his Ease Chair and to the German designers of Atelier Ferraro for his 1.5 Celsius chair which perfectly meets the needs of small spaces.
