VyTA Farnese: between traditional bar and contemporary café

It is the Collidanielarchitetto studio that imagined VyTA’s new address, piazza Farnese, in Rome, in the former Caffè Farnese. A decoration which plays with the codes of the Renaissance and modernism, and which gives pride of place to the warm and chic contrasts of materials.

A beautiful address a stone’s throw from Campo de ‘Fiori: the new VyTA Farnese emphasizes a historical context, without forgetting the present. This change of epoch, Daniela Colli This has resulted in a choice of refined materials (leather, polychrome marble, lacquered surfaces, mirrors, velvet, etc.) associated with assumed color associations. From emerald green to pink, all the elements seem to vibrate in this place where this chain of high-end cafes and caterers is established.

Between the high stools, counters with Art Deco accents, pink leather sofas associated with darker velvet armchairs, the copper suspensions bring a cheerful quirky note. The architect has fun with symmetries and mirrors, and brings warm softness in a subtle use of the curve, and thus animates a friendly and chic place.
