The Pauline collection

Offecct has recently released a variation of the Pauline chair. An extension of the collection that the Swedish publisher has accompanied with a nice gesture: the publication of a book in tribute to Pauline Deltour, who died suddenly in September 2021.

Pauline is a small fabric swivel chair with arms or on wheels. The collection is also available in a two-seater and three-seater version. For the release of these additional pieces, the last ones that the publisher has worked with Pauline Deltour, Offecct has also published a book tracing the history of the French designer. A tribute book – the fifth in the series -, illustrated with numerous testimonies collected by journalist Helen Parton, who specializes in architecture and design. “ It’s kind of a mission to showcase the work that is behind the design and that stands the test of time,” says Maria Olofsson Karemyr, manager at Offecct. “Pauline Deltour knew how to be visionary, creative and poetic while remaining very grounded in craftsmanship, materials and manufacturing processes.”

Pauline Deltour graduated from ENSAD in 2007 and worked for four years with Konstantin Grcic before setting up her own studio in 2011. “With Pauline, it wasn’t a question of trends, she wasn’t looking for approval but following her own vision,” says designer and friend Jun Yasumoto.
