The new Dedàleo products, between Milan and Cyprus

During the Salone Satellite in Milan, Dedàleo unveiled its new products: the Snap armchair and the California table.

Ntaiana Charalampous, the co-founder of Dedàleo, is a Cypriot interior designer based in Milan. His work, between Milan and Cyprus, focuses on creating unique interior and furniture concepts that have a positive impact on the lives of users. At the show in April, she presented her new products, the Snap armchair in three limited edition versions and the California coffee table.

Creations with a touch of Italy and Cyprus

Composed of a steel frame and upholstered wool pieces sewn by the designer with fabric for men’s suits, the Snap chair is a tribute to both Milan, where she studied, and Cyprus, her home country. Created by luxury brand Loro Piana, the world’s leading handcrafted luxury fiber processing company, this textile, from past collections, was purchased during the brand’s limited access Friends&Family clearance event and transformed into unique and sustainable furniture. “I sewed the chair by hand with a Singer Talent home machine, with no prior sewing experience. I wanted to experiment with a new type of art and create a mix of fashion, craft and product design“she explained.

The three limited edition Snap chairs are available for purchase individually. The chair can be reproduced in several copies, but only with different fabrics. The California coffee table completes the collection by drawing inspiration from the fabric pattern. Its structure is composed of four different sides and a top dotted with pieces of aluminum, glass and marble, custom made for the designer by a terrazzo Veneziano craftsman.
