The Monza armchair by Konstantin Grcic

The German designer Konstantin Grcic designed in 2009 the Monza armchair for the Plank brand.

German designer Konstantin Grcic designed in 2009 the Monza armchair for the Plank brand . The ash wood base and seat, inspired by the know-how of the Italian brand, contrasts with the polypropylene backrest and armrests which give the seat real comfort and bring a touch of color and contemporaneity. Polypropylene is available in 7 colors and the armchair has the characteristic of being stackable. Several collaborations between Konstantin Grcic and Plank had already emerged: the Myto chair (2008) and the Miura high stool (2005) which have become essential pieces of the designer . In 2015, he designed the “Remo” chair, whose shape pays homage to the brand’s know-how, despite a T-shaped backrest made using very sophisticated fastening technology.
