Located opposite the Paris Stock Exchange, the Floor, The Bureau’s 4th address, has just been inaugurated. A new “prenium” workspace, spread over six floors, which required a year of work, supervised by the architect Marika Dru. With a novelty: the inauguration of a cafe-canteen on the ground floor, and open to the public.
“At The Bureau, we defend smart working. All our services are designed so that customers only have to focus on their work.” These words from Laurent Geneslay, founder of The Bureau, set the tone. Drawing on his experience in finance as a trader, he wanted to imagine a concept of optimized offices that offer condensed services. On the menu: view of Montmartre or Place de la Bourse, unlimited hot drinks and fruit, a gym or yoga room… The ingredients for successful productivity.

The Floor, a new space designed by architect Marika Dru
To imagine the architectural concept of the new space, The Bureau called on the architect Marika Dru, who had already worked for the two addresses of the Cour Albert Ier, in the 8th arrondissement. The offices, which can accommodate up to 40 people per floor, are equipped with carpeted floors, in a color chart of brown and fluted glass doors. Similarities in materials (wood, sections of walls in recycled felt, etc.) found in each of the sites. However, each space stands out with its own identity, as Laurent Geneslay testifies: “For each site, we find a certain agreement, like a reminder. But we quickly realize that they are singular from each other.” For the Floor specifically, the layout of the place has been personalized by adding vintage furniture, selected by The Socialite Family.

The Bureau: flexibility as a watchword
At The Bureau, only one constraint is to be taken into account: office rental must be for a minimum of three months, with the possibility of termination at any time. “A large majority of our customers go well beyond three months. Many go on packages of one or even two years.” And if each office is personalized according to its tenant, the services offered are accessible to all. A tenant of the Espace de la Bourse will be able to use the yoga room located in the basement, but can also go to the gym at rue du Quatre Septembre.
