The Alliance française des designers (AFD), a non-political, multidisciplinary professional union, represents designers whatever their disciplines (products, spaces, messages) and whatever their status (companies, freelancers, employees).
Its objectives are to raise awareness and inform about the problems encountered by professionals and to support its members on the tax, social and legal particularities of the design professions.
It collaborates with other professional organizations (Europe) and represents designers to public authorities in France and Europe.
