TECTONA bets on the curve
Christophe Delcourt signed the collection Exeter for Tectona , which expands with a bridge chair. The work of the curved lines, and in particular the fluidity of the extension of the armrests in the base, reflects the know-how of the brand in cabinetmaking. We can read the solidity of teak without having a heavy effect in an openwork principle which avoids a massive effect. Among the other novelties, we also note in the more imposing pieces the circular bench which comes to enlarge the 1800 collection .
EMU plays extra time
At Emu, the collection Carousel designated by Sebastian herkner expands from a sofa to an ottoman and square and rectangular coffee tables. Among the novelties in the pre-existing collections, there is also a new version of the set Tami of Patrick Norguet, with a bamboo structure; the lounge chair Cozy of the Snooze collection by Chiaramonte-Marin in indoor version; the day bed for the range Arik Levy’s Shine and the rectangular table from the Nova collection. Among the brand new releases, we can spot the collection Cannole ( design Anton Cristell & Emmanuel Gargano ) strong of a large structure composed of steel tubes, and a seat with deep and thick cushioning.
Ethimo works on nuance
Paola Navone complete her Rafael collection with dining tables of different dimensions and armchairs, which combine the teak structure with a set of weaving made of rope. The tables stand out for their asymmetrical shape and their top, in marble or enamelled lava stone, whose shades are reminiscent of those of the sea.
VONDOM mixes materials
The Spanish publisher is strengthening its outdoor collections with accessories (such as pots and planters Venus of Marcel Wanders) or hybridizations of materials: Ramon Esteve’s Faz collection is now available in Faz Wood, with the proposal of a wooden base.
Cassina sees the garden in a big way
Among the publishers who are developing their outdoor market, we will also note the Trampoline imagined by Patricia urquiola for Cassina . This XXL daybed is inspired by the small trampolines present in the gardens of houses in Greenland. And by itself forms a space in itself.
