MOORE Design announces the acquisition of CEB

Created in 2012, MOORE Design acquires CEB (Comptoir Européen du Bureau) and strengthens the development of its activity of creation and distribution of furniture for tertiary spaces and the hotel sector.

Passionate about furniture and design, Charles Guez founded CEB in 1989 and developed it thanks to his solid expertise, a sharp selection of products and a policy of quality services.

Positioned as a player in the development of workspaces and hotels, Julien Diard, founder of MOORE Design, wants to keep the CEB brand, the teams and the showroom, the objective is to strengthen the links between the two companies : “Despite the times, we are living through an extraordinary period in terms of the transformation of workspaces in the tertiary world. We believe that by uniting ourselves we will support our customers as closely as possible to their needs, both nationally and internationally (notably with the opening at the end of 2020 of a showroom in Brussels). “
On the other hand, in view of the situation, Julien Diard specifies that “The market announces a decline in sales of between 30% and 40%. MOORE Design has just closed (as of June 30, 2020) its 8 e fiscal year with a turnover up 5% compared to last year including the period of confinement. With the signing of numerous references and international openness, MOORE is confident. »

For Charles Guez, “ the market suffered a lull, but as of the recovery, the projects in progress were mostly maintained. Supporting companies in these new agile working methods will be the most important challenge and will create new opportunities for MOORE Design and CEB. “

MOORE Design is also a partner of competition launched by Intramuros and the CAMONDO school.
