Milan Furniture Fair maintained in September

Following Claudio Luti’s resignation announced last week, the organizers of the Milan Furniture Fair have ensured the event will continue in September. The successor to the presidency has yet to be named. For the latest information, Claudio Feltrin, President of Arper , remains in the presidency of FederlegnoArredo, and Gianfranco Marinelli maintains the presidency of Federlegno Arredo Eventi, the company that organizes the Salone.

A painful decision: after two terms of office, Claudio Luti announced last week his resignation from the presidency of the Milan Motor Show.
This Thursday, a press release from the organizers of the major design event aimed to reassure the sector by stating that the 59 e Milan furniture fair edition would be held well this year in September 2021 from September 5 to 10 at Rho Fiera Milano. The event in a totally innovative form will allow companies close to their market to keep in touch with their distributors and their aficionados.

After endless and heated internal debates, the revival of the Italian economy has emerged as a priority and the support of the new government is essential in this direction. The 2021 plan presented to the Council of Ministers, shared by all the territorial institutions and the partners of the Fiera Milano fair, recognizes the importance of the Milan furniture fair for the financial and social fabric of Italy. The show will exhibit brand new products over the past 18 months in compliance with the health rules required by the Covid-19 pandemic from which Italy has particularly suffered.

The meeting of September 5 can give a new dynamic to the profession and reinstate the Milan show as the major event of the design profession. Gianfranco Marinelli, President of FLA Eventi SpA thanked the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella and the President of the Council of Ministers for their support. He also thanked the new president of FederlegnoArredo, Claudio Feltrin, the president of Arper. which announces that the show will henceforth operate in synergy with the city of Milan for which the show is the only way to shine on an international scale.
