It is exclusively at the Rossana Orlandi gallery, on the occasion of Milan Design Week from June 6 to 12, that the new pieces with very seventies inspirations by Draga & Aurel will be presented.
Founded by Draga Obradovic and Aurel K. Basedow in 2007, the multidisciplinary studio Draga & Aurel works in the fields of furniture, textiles and interior architecture. Enriched by experiences in fashion, art or crafts, the duo’s approach and their original methods have led them to be widely recognized, especially for their original reinvention of vintage design items. From June 6 to 12 in Milan, they exhibit their new pieces at the Rossana Orlandi gallery.

New pieces and evolutions of emblematic collections presented
For Milan Design Week, the designer duo Draga & Aurel offers pieces with surprising combinations of lines, colors and materials. Indeed, for the Transparency Matters collection, the duo was largely inspired by the 1970s: “The design, art, fashion, photography and architecture that developed in the 1970s were a symbol of change, experimentation and cross-fertilization.“They present new products there, such as the Tito bed and the Beba armchair, as well as evolutions of certain emblematic pieces of the collection, namely Joy, Golia and Rive.
