From Thursday 11 June to Sunday 14 June, a tour in Saint-Germain des Prés invites you to discover some sixty galleries. An exceptional operation called #Visitonsnosgaleries.
It’s an event: in the district of Saint-Germain-des Prés, this weekend; 62 galleries, all specialties and sensibilities combined, come together to promote their importance in the French cultural landscape, by reminding that they are open to all, and that the public can discover exceptional works of art and applied art.
While the major museums and temporary exhibitions are closed and will only reopen very gradually, the art galleries are open and ready to welcome visitors. They also remind us, while the major art fairs are postponed until the fall or even canceled, that they are themselves constituent parts of these major art events, and that they offer collectors the opportunity to see, and to acquire works, which they support artists.
Among the partner galleries of this operation, there are modern art, contemporary art and primitive art galleries: Georges-Philippe and Nathalie Vallois gallery, Olivier Waltman gallery, Jousse Entreprise, Triode Design, Meuble et lumière…
