The Belgian publisher CRUSO called on the designer of Japanese origin Keiji Takeuchi for the new Springback collection: a coffee table and a chair dedicated to a relaxation area, private or professional.
Belgian furniture brand, Cruso offers contemporary objects designed by internationally recognized designers. The products are designed for use in the domestic sphere, as well as in a professional environment. Note, they are designed in an eco-responsible production process with local and sustainable raw materials, European manufacture and only land transport.
The new Springback collection designed by Keiji Takeuchi
For its new collection, Cruso called on designer Keiji Takeuchi. The first elements reveal a chair and a coffee table, available in oak or walnut. The curved lines ensure comfort and are part of a very refined, timeless aesthetic, giving pride of place to the noble material. The whole is fixed on a steel structure which gives both lightness and robustness to the composition.
To meet Cruso’s request to limit the ecological footprint as much as possible, and to deliver products in minimal packaging, Keiji Takeuchi sought above all simplicity. Thanks to an engineering process called “Springback”, only 10 screws are needed to assemble the chair with its timeless design. In no time at all, each part can be assembled with ease for immediate use.
