Intramuros at EquipHotel 2022

The EquipHotel 2022 trade show, which will be held from November 6 to 10, will focus on committed hospitality as the core of a program menu designed to meet the expectations of hotel and restaurant professionals. Intramuros will be present and will lead round tables from November 6 to 9 in partnership with Ameublement français, at the Interior Design Center (hall 7.2), and will also moderate a conference in the Architecture and Design hall about new uses. A meeting area in partnership with Lafuma Mobilier (hall 7.2) is also planned.

From November 6 to 10 at the Parc des expositions de la Porte de Versailles, the EquipHotel trade show, the leading B2B event in the hotel and restaurant industry, will focus on the best ways to advise professionals. In addition to the opportunity to meet a multitude of suppliers, EquipHotel will play more than ever its role as a hub for new trends and innovations in the hospitality industry (i.e., all companies involved in the gastronomy sector, and more broadly in cafés, hotels and restaurants), particularly in the areas of customer reception and employee working conditions.

Make hotels and restaurants real places to live

The 1,200 exhibiting companies, 40% of which are from abroad and cover the four main areas of food service, design, well-being, and technology and services, as well as the 113,000 decision-makers from the hospitality industry present (chefs, restaurant managers, architects, decorators, community managers, etc.) will try to think about the present and future of their sector by reflecting on issues as essential as commitment to the planet, the end of the crisis – with the 300,000 jobs to be filled in the sector under the spotlight.) will try to think about the present and future of their sector by reflecting on issues as essential as the commitment to the planet, the end of the crisis – with the 300,000 jobs to be filled in the sector – and the need to make hotels and restaurants real places to live, sensitive as their customers and employees to the land, the territories, the local specificities and the short circuits.

To guide this approach, which is in line with societal evolution, the show will be based on a series of conferences and five strong themes: planning for the long term and sustainability; staying attractive; doing good with good; focusing on self-care; thinking digital with a human face. To embody this human dimension, the two-starred chef Christophe Hay has been chosen as the event’s patron. A very coherent choice when you know his commitment to eco-responsibility, put into practice with the opening of his hotel Relais & Châteaux Fleur de Loire, in Blois.

A program of conferences to think about the future of the sector

And if the show will be the occasion to meet the professionals of the sector, a cycle of conferences will offer times of debates on the stakes of the restoration and the hotel trade. In this context, Intramuros will host a talk on Monday, November 7, at 2:00 p.m. on the subject of hotels and modularity of use, with Eléna Apiou, head of design at Adagio, Tristan Lohner, designer and director of RBC Paris, Benjamin Clarens, architect at Cut Architectures and Ramy Fischler, designer and founder of RF Studio.
The entire program is available here: https: //www.equiphotel.com/fr-fr/programme/conferences.html#conferences.

Encourage meetings around round tables

Every morning, on the stand of the Interior Design Center (stand N44), think tank contract & agencement of the French furniture industry, the French furniture industry and Intramuros will offer a program of exchanges that they have co-designed bringing together interior designers and manufacturers to better decipher the state of the market and the questioning of the various players. How to adapt a project to a budget and vice versa? How to adopt a CSR approach? What are the new standards in the hotel industry? What are we looking for in the hotel today? Around the proposed themes, these meetings are above all a place for exchange and sharing of experiences and news to better meet the expectations and proposals of each, facing the changes in the sector. Each evening, a summary of the exchanges will be published on the Intramuros website.

Encourage informal exchanges

In partnership with Lafuma Mobilier, Intramuros will also offer an informal meeting place (hall 7.2). In this area, it will be possible to consult the latest issues of Intramuros and to access a preferential subscription offer specially set up for the duration of the show.
