You still have until October 14, midnight to submit your application for the Grands Prix de la Création of the City of Paris. Note, the juries will be chaired this year by Mathias Kiss (crafts), Matali Crasset (design) and Sakina M’Sa (fashion). Like the previous editions, Intramuros is a partner of this competition.
What are the Grands Prix de la Création of the City of Paris?
They reward 6 professionals (3 Grands Prix de la Création and 3 Prix Emerging Talents) in 3 categories: crafts, fashion and design.
An endowment of € 18,000 is awarded to each winner. Each prize is endowed with € 8,000 by the City of Paris and enriched via the Fund for the Ateliers de Paris by private partners (Galeries Lafayette Group, Rémy Cointreau Foundation, etc.).
Last year’s design winners were Jean-Baptiste Fastrez for the Grand Prix de la Création, and Natacha & Sacha for emerging talents.
Who can participate?
The competition is open to designers from the design, fashion and crafts sectors over 18 years old. It is aimed at individuals or companies.
Candidates must have been practicing for at least one year on the date of registration for the competition, i.e. October 15, 2020: (date of creation of activity of the company or the brand – siren notice being taken) .
How to participate ?
By registering online before October 14 midnight via a dedicated form.
Applications must include: a portfolio, a presentation of the company (description of the company, activity or brand, team, clientele, development projects, distinctions, etc.), presentation of the creative process , CV.
