The Italian house Giorgetti, which celebrates its 125th anniversary this year, unveils two exclusive pieces from its 2023 collection: the Skirt stool and Woody & Mia, a set of coffee tables and poufs.
Founded in Meda in 1898, Giorgetti is a company specialized in solid wood, handled by craftsmen with a unique Italian know-how. On the occasion of the company’s 125th anniversary, Giorgetti is organizing a series of events, including the release of its new 2023 collection and the opening of new locations, including the inauguration of two showrooms in Milan and New York.
Skirt, the stool imagined by M2Atelier
Designed by M2Atelier, the design studio of Marco Bonelli and Marijana Radovic, the Skirt stool is based on a creative approach in reference to the 1960s. The name of the stool, Skirt, was chosen to refer to the back of the stool, covered with leather, which is reminiscent of the silhouette of a skirt. A design focused on comfort and functionality, designed to meet the needs of the hotel industry but which can also have a place in domestic spaces.

Woody & Mia, puzzle collection
Developed by Giorgetti R&D, the company’s in-house research team, the Woody & Mia collection embodies two stories linked by a common trait. The Mia coffee table is designed to be the focal point of the living room. The walnut table top, reveals a curved entry on one corner, which interlock with the Woody side table, whose shapes are molded into the wood. Woody is also available in a “pouf” version, in fabric or leather, always designed to line up, like two pieces of a puzzle, with Mia.
