Registration to participate in the 9th edition of the Gainerie 91 design competition is open until March 28, 2022. This year’s theme is “Luxury trinkets” and asks participants to create an original gift.
The Gainerie 91 competition returns for a 9th edition on the theme of “Luxury trinkets” and more particularly on gifts, these small objects or attentions given free of charge for marketing purposes. True witnesses of the universe of a brand, they are now at the heart of any communication strategy and are the best way to attract attention. Thus, candidates must slip into the skin of a luxury brand and imagine an original gift. The sectors of activity concerned for the competition are: jewellery, watchmaking, wines & spirits, perfumery, cosmetics, small leather goods. The models and prototypes will obviously be appreciated by the jury.
Conditions of participation
To take part in the competition, candidates must be adults with student status or have graduated less than a year ago and reside in France. Also, they must not have participated directly or indirectly in the organization of the competition or have worked for Gainerie 91 in any way whatsoever (internships, work-study, apprenticeship, employees, direct partners).
1st prize: €2,500 or, at your choice, a lot of equivalent value and the production of your proposal with 1 year of follow-up by Gainerie 91.
2nd prize: €1,500 or a prize of equivalent value of your choice.
3rd prize: €1,000 or a prize of equivalent value, of your choice.
Public Prize: €800 or an equivalent prize, as desired.

March 28, 2022 : deadline for submitting applications
April 4 to May 30, 2022 : online and Instagram votes for the audience award
April 28, 2022 : Preselection of the 10 best projects
May 19, 2022 : Presentation of the projects in front of a jury and selection of the 3 best projects at the end of this day.
June 16, 2022 : Prize giving
