First class: mix and match at the Tuileries

The Première Classe trade show, a major event dedicated to fashion accessories, welcomed for the third consecutive year the artistic directors Romain Costa and Evane Haziza-Bonnamour, from September 30th to October 3rd.

It was under the tents set up in the Tuileries garden that the pair had decided to mix art and design in a scenography inspired by the suspended journey. For this edition with the sunny name of “Sunny Corner”, the two architects Romain Costa and Evane Haziza-Bonnamour have imagined a blank page, “Turn around”, to be interpreted as one wishes. Page turning, new horizons or rebirth, Turn Round put in scene the creation under different forms, of course that of the fashion, which goes together here with the design, associated with artistic pieces.

Table Ce matin l'étain m'atteint, design Alban Turquois, Harold Mollet

For this edition, they had selected the emerging design gallery 13 Desserts with a colorful furniture, the duo French Cliché, scouting for contemporary talents using ancestral know-how, and Harold Mollet, expert in furniture and design of the twentieth century. Installed in the manner of a museum, the different pieces responded to each other in form, material and color range.

The icing on the cake, the architects have called upon the talented sculptor Emmanuelle Roule who works on “the geography of form”. An exhibition was dedicated to her, highlighting her modeled ceramics, the result of research into light, texture and material. All in curves and movements, nuances and transparency were there!
