Within the prospective framework of FRENCH DESIGN 2059, a first theme was launched in 2020: “Disruption towards sustainable design”. After a work of identifying initiatives taken by entrepreneurs and designers and the animation of a college of experts around a reflection on the sustainable transformation of the sector, FRENCH DESIGN 2059 conducted foresight workshops which, from scenarios with geopolitical, economic and societal variables, generated a series of challenging fictions.
