Since 2006, the Ateliers de Paris incubator has been working to help the development of creative companies in the design, fashion and craft sectors. Registration is open until April 12!
Launched by the Bureau du Design, de la Mode et des Métiers d’Art in 2006, under the impetus of the City of Paris, the Ateliers de Paris incubator is a major component of the city’s policy. The creative professions are significant sectors of activity for the city in terms of economic development, employment, cultural dynamism, revitalization of neighborhoods and international influence.
A space with many advantages
In fact, the city of Paris wishes to support the emergence of committed projects such as responsible fashion, new uses and new materials, innovation and hybridization of know-how, local manufacturing, new economic models… In order to support them as best as possible, Les Ateliers de Paris offers incubates access to numerous advantages:
- The provision of a workspace, i.e. an individual workshop or a shared space of 10 to 35 m², free access to meeting rooms and 24-hour availability.
- Personalized support with unlimited access to the BDMMA team, the possibility of free training and the setting up of six expert meetings per year of residency as well as individual follow-up meetings.
- The development of a network since the incubatee will have access to the contacts offered by the Ateliers de Paris. They will also be able to participate in group discussions and meet various professionals in the sector.
- Access to a certain visibility with the provision of a resident’s file to be distributed, promotion on the various communication platforms of the BDMMA (website, newsletter, social networks, press release, Ateliers de Paris gallery…), but also participation in events of the sector such as the Paris Design Week, JEMA, biennial Revelations…
