During Milan Design Week, Elisa Ossino and Josephine Akvama Hoffmeye presented the exhibition “Butterfly Effect”. A gallery apartment with interior design by Elisa Ossino Studio and surface design by File Under Pop.
In Milan, the exhibition project “Butterfly Effect” led by Elisa Ossino and Josephine Akvama Hoffmeye explored the layers of surface design and drew on years of experience in working with color and tactility. The goal was to establish a link with the Muuto objects and furniture, V-ZUG kitchen appliances and TUBES radiators, brands that inhabit this 18th century apartment in the Brera district of Milan.

For the installation, File Under Pop created an intermezzo of colors, using powerful shades like Lime Juice, Roots and Lollipop from the 96-color paint collection. Through this exhibition, the idea was to draw attention to the sensitivity of the surface’s tactility, challenging conventions about how tiles should be integrated into a living space.
