Apply for the Paris Shop and Design Prize 2022!

The Paris Shop and Design Prize, which rewards the best interior design projects for shops, hotels, restaurants and cultural venues, is back for an 8th edition. In addition to the addition of CSR as a new selection criterion, the organization will also offer a novelty: the PSD Incubateur by French Design. Applications are open until March 31.

Last October, the Paris Shop and Design prize rewarded 6 development projects in the 6 categories in the running (Food; Well-being, Health, Beauty; Culture, Leisure, Services to individuals; Hotels, Cafés, Restaurants; Home, Decoration and Fashion). A free price open to any merchant, architect or designer for a project less than 3 years old. The call for applications to participate in this new edition is launched from March 1 to April 30, 2022.

CSR, a new selection criterion

For this 8th edition, the organizing committee wanted to add a CSR dimension to the project selection criteria. The environment, the sustainability of the concept and the work in the sourcing as well as the customer journey will therefore be aspects that will be evaluated and taken into account in the overall rating of the projects. In addition, a special mention may be awarded if the jury finds that a project particularly stands out.

New for 2022: The PSD Incubator by French Design

Another novelty this year: the establishment of the PSD Incubator by French Design. Launched in parallel with the classic price, this incubator will allow a retailer with a renovation or space creation project to be accompanied in its realization. The carrier of the selected project will be put in contact with architects and designers likely to help him in its implementation. Once the duo has been found and validated, the teams of the CCI Paris, of French Design and all the related partners will accompany them in the realization. The call for projects is launched from March 1 to 31.
